There I was today moored up above Abingdon Lock on the Thames relaxing when a pair of narrow boats glided into the moorings.
They were not any boats either.
It was The Little Sewing Boat providing on the move sewing for boats.
They make and fit cratch covers, pram hoods, boats covers, curtains, and cushion covers.
They will also patch and repair most covers too!
And if you have any clothes that need shortening they do this too.
What a brilliant idea.
They were really nice and friendly people too.
The boat was on its way to the Kennet and Avon.
Stop them and use them.
