Fray's River: a good place to walk and think
A short west London river.
It leaves the Colne at Uxbridge Moor and rejoins it at West Drayton.
A peaceful place.
Often nobody to be seen.
A good place to walk and think.

Ducks in the Autumn sunshine
Can this really be near the centre of Uxbridge?
Can this really be a mid-November day?
What a spot to find!
Minutes from the town centre and it's roaring bypass.
It's the Fray's River.
What a find

Bright light and reflections
Kew Gardens ......... what a treasure.
Autumn is a wonderful time to be here.
All those glorious trees losing their leaves.
But what a find this lake is?
Amazing light and reflections galore!

Coloured cottages
Walking through some of the old town at Ystad.
Colourful cottages line the way.
As you look back at the cottages in the bend of the road you can imagine the fishermen coming how in years long passed.

As bright as bright can be?
Eye catching
Well it certainly stands out
A shop not to me
It sells some great flowers too!

Uxbridge urban rivers
As well as the Grand Union Canal Uxbridge has plenty of small urban rivers flowing around the town centre.
There is the Fray River and the River Colbe among others
