Through the gate

You do not need to go far off the main road in London to find something unspoilt.
I came out of Boston Manor underground station today to walk on the Capital Ring
First I walked past the Harvester pub-restaurant.
Next, I turned down a tarmac footpath
Ahead was a drive way and at the end a kissing gate.
Through I went and descended down a wonderful sloping gravel path and into quite dense woodland.
Soon I was at the River Brent where it joins the Grand Union Canal.
Very near (and out of sight) is the M4 motorway roaring off to Reading and beyond.
It is amazing what beauty there is through the gate.
Open it sometime!
