A shard of glass at London Bridge

The skyline around London Bridge is changing!
Suddenly a shard of glass is rising in front of the station.
Although still under construction it is obvious that The Shard will be great new landmarks.
It will be a real skyscraper!
It already looks amazing as the entire building has been designed in an irregular triangular shape from the base to the top  and the tower cladding will be completely of glass.  When complete it will be 310 metres high (1017 feet) and have 72 floors plus 15 further radiator floors in the roof
The Shard replaces a 24-story office block called Southwark Towers..
I'll be back to see tghis amazing building as it grows.
