I am in the large ticket hall at Acton Town station at about 7.30pm.
Waiting and thinking. Looking up and I notice the light streaming in and creating a great sunlight pattern on the side of the window frames. Magic……………
Acton Town station opened as Mill Hill station in 1879. It was reconstructed in 1910. The new station was designed by Charles Holden in a modern European geometric style using brick, reinforced concrete and glass.
