Up and down the Hanwell Flight

The sun finally came out..........

Time for a waterside walk.

So it was down to the Grand Union and a short walk on part of the Hanwell Flight.

What a great place this is.

Although broadly urban the country is peeping through.

So much history to be seen too.

The flight of locks for instance was built in 1794 and it has six locks which raise the water level 53 feet in just half a mile.
