The River Wey and its navigation is a special place.
It has an amazing history and a great part of its 'recent history' centre around William Stevens.
By the 1890s William Stevens and Sons had a fleet of eight barges and almost a monopoly of the navigation's traffic.
Here is one of the remaining boats at the National Trust at Dapdune Wharf in Guildford
