Walking from Minehead to Lynton

Today its just 12.5 miles.
Will that be too much for us after yesterday?
Ash Farm was wonderful and we had a great breakfast to set us on our way.
The good thing was the farm was a couple miles out of Porlock Weir so we were well up the steep ascent out of the village.
We were well and truly on Exmoor today and the moor certainly comes right up to the cliffs.
As the day went on the cliffs seemed to get steeper and steeper.
Or was it we were getting tired!
Then the weather came in.
First really heavy gusts and then an almighty hail storm.
We sheltered in a ditch and behind a wall.
It was all very frightening especially being so high and exposed.
Eventually the weather eased and we made our way down some lovely wooded valleys into Lynton and what a great river the Lyn is.
