Ratty's river?

River_pang

The river Pang is a tributary of the grand old river Thames.
It joins the Thames naturally enough at Pangbourne in Berkshire.
It is actually a short chalk stream of some 14 miles but it is really Ratty's river and this is the stream with its water voles that is thought to have inspired Kenneth Grahame's character Ratty and his book The Wind in the Willows.
