It was All Hallows Eve.
I was just leaving St Mary's Church in Northam after evensong evening.
The singing had been spectacular.
I took a closer look at the embroidery on the altar table.
It hung with such splendour.
Its vibrant colours shone out into the nave of the darkened candle lit church.
