Goldsmith almshouses

Goldsmith Almhouses in Acton

This is a wonderful ‘secret’ part of Acton. Walk up to the top end of Acton Park or go along the far end of East Churchfield Road and you will find the almshouses of the Goldsmiths’ Company.  These are such wonderful building.
The first ones were built in 1811 and the rest in 1838 on land left by John Perryn to the Goldsmith Company.
