The Boat Race 2010

Today was the 156th Boat Race between Oxford and Cambridge and I was at Putney to see the off.
Always a special thing to wathc a live event
It is even better if you wank the couse before hand and then walk back after the race.
I set off from Chiswick which is actually the finish and walked to the start at Putney.

I was there is plenty of time to get into a great position at the start line to see the off.
The crowds were really out in their numbers

Blow is the Oxford boat coming up to the stake boat. It is nearly start time!

and here are the Oxford and Cambridge boats on the start line. Ready, steady go.....
Oxford are away quickly and soon get an early lead!

By the way Cambridge won after a very tight race!
